Submit five letters of recommendation on forms supplied by the school
Recommendation forms are supplied by Rosemead and are contained in the Application pack. Three of these are academic references and two are character references (pastor and personal friend).
-
Forward official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
Transcripts must be official and mailed directly from your college or university in a sealed envelope to the Office of Graduate Admissions.
-
Submit general GRE scores
Psychology GRE is no longer required starting with Fall 2009 applicants.
Note: International students must follow the requirements listed above. In addition, you must submit TOEFL scores as well as an Affidavit of Support.
Application Process
Your application will be carefully studied. If considered to be potentially acceptable, your application will be put in a group to be interviewed and ranked by the end of March. At that time we will offer a limited number of acceptances to the highest-ranking applicants. A limited number of applicants will be placed on a wait list for each program. When there are no further chances of acceptance, all applicants will be notified.
Application Deadline
Since enrollment is limited and admission is on a selective basis, applications should be made as early as possible. Applications must be received in the Office of Graduate Admission by January 15. Decisions are made only on completed applications. Rosemead currently admits new students for the degree programs only in the fall semester each year. Applications received after the January 15 deadline will rarely be considered for the following fall semester.
